I never pulled anyone's ear real hard. I have pulled someone's ear to where it popped. I'm not sure what popped but my nephew used to pull his ears till they popped.
When I say popped, I don't mean inside your ear like when yawn but like some tendon attached to the top of the ear. I like that popping feeling when doing it to myself or someone else.
