Limbs bend slowly, lowerin' the young perfection t'wards the ground. A strike o' lightnin' sends her coat dancin' wit' moonglow silver as she takes a last look 'round the valley, which would be her restin' place. Lids slowly close o'er dull hazel occuli that had once been sparkelin' an' full o' life. Labrums part t' 'mitt last call t' all who car'd t' hear. "Remember me". Twin listeners flicker for a moment, hearin' it echo 'round the land then all it still an' silent.
The rain quiets my every thought.
as it beats against the plains,
the lonely sound of the running water,
treat me with disdain.
Our time together if only in the rain,
and being just a dream,
it speaks and calls and echoes her name,
which rises from the steam.
It brings her likeness into view,
a angel in disguise,
she puts her finger to my lips,
quietly, I close my eyes.
The echo tells me in my mind,
of how we want to be,
tells me to say the words I dream,
remember me,
remember me.
