Honeoye has not had pike in it at all until they showed up a year or two ago. The only member of the pike family native to the lake is chain pickerel. The pickerel population has dropped off the last few years to the point where they are almost non-existant. Also, back in the 1920's, the lake was stocked with musky, but they never took hold.
As far as tthe crappie and bullhead, I checked with Honeoye Bait and Tackle. They said a few people got some crappie over the weekend on minnows and jigs with waxworms, but no hot action yet. No reports of bullhead activity, either.
