Author: Elohesra [Edit]	Date Posted: 10:01:20 11/20/09 Fri (82.5.151.145) I cant beleive that i have been bared from a couple of bc rollers message boards for just saying my oppinion and i was prooved right on certain things that i have said in the past talking of the past most people whom are like sheep and just stick to there little clicky clan are living in the past an example of that is a birthday greeting sent on the voy fender board saying happy birthday falk boy this made me laugh faulk boy as you still call him is nearly 60 now surely it should have read happy birthday old man.The people that use these so called message boards should grow up its 2009 not 1974 for gods sake and you all really have no idea what hes like or you just would not want to know one thing though i always take great comfort in knowing that Tam Paton whom did not steal there money as some twats on some boards say died a happy man and left his hard earned millions that he earned through running his own property company was left to animal charity every time a bye a tin of dog food i think of poor eric living in his bed sit lol well done Tam and R.I.P my friend.Onto another subject what ever happened to erics book i tell you what happened to it no publisher is interested just like no label is interested in his music also eric is no longer with karen but i think most of you have worked that one out by now.Keep rollin lmfao. As most of you BCR fans that are still left may have seen on The Fender message board,There has been a lot of complaints about people sending money for pre order CDs from Erics my space site.Be carefull as Eric does not run that site.Unless its an offical release dont buy it.Eric may know the person that runs it and could be in on it,not sure about that one.However the tracks that were advertised on there are old Demos anyway,as i dont think Eric has any new songs thats why the BCR orig comeback did not work out in the year 2000.And any band calling themself The Bay City Rollers are cheating the fans,Eric Les and Ian call there bands BCRs in some guise but its only one of them in each line up,if they had anything about them such as a little talent surely they would not have to con the public into thinking they were seeing The BCRs,why are they not going solo,oh i know why cause no one knows there names well enough.The proof in that was when Eric did a gig some three years ago and only 6 people turned up.After that he went back to calling his band Bay City Rollers,one other thing sometimes they do put there name in front of BCRs.The name Bay City Rollers was owned by Tam Paton he sold it on to Eric Faulkner in 1990 and he sold it on to Ian Mitchell in 2001 and he has since sold it on to his ex manager.So therefor the band that tours as Bay City Rollers do have the right to use it but g whizz a BCR line up with no BCR in it LOL................................................

I am looking to complete a set of Topps BCR cards. I need:
1, 6, 11, 12, 14, 15, 19, 22, 23, 32, 35, 36, 40, 44, 51, 53, 61

I have these to trade:

16, 21, 27, 37, 41, 47, 49, 52, 54, 60

I also have these 1975 Scanlens cards to trade. These are identical to the Topps cards except they are printed on thinner, lighter color cardboard stock. They were sold in Australia and Asia.

1, 7, 11, 13, 27, 31, 32, 33, 40, 41, 46, 48, 49, 50, 54, 55, 56

I would also like to trade for any Scanlens cards that anyone might have.

Hi, unfortunately I don't have anything to trade, but if any of you have or know where I might get copies of the Rollers on the Midnight Special or of their Saturday morning show or even any of the (US) talk shows that they appeared on I really would appreciate it. The only thing that I have is a so-so copy of VH-1's Behind the Music. If any one could help I would be glad to pay for the tape or DVD, your time and the shipping and postage, inside the US if possible. Thanks, Lisa

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've created a new MySpace page expressly for BCR Fans! It's a multi-purpose site: one, to give folks an easy way to sign up for the BCR Fan Database, two, a place where announcements can be posted regarding fan fests, upcoming gigs, and any other BCR news that comes along (hint: subscribe to the blog to get these updates!) and three, a place for fans to find each other! It's still in it's embryonic stages tho - I need to pretty it up a bit!

Those of you already on my MySpace friends list should find an invite in your box soon! If not, please stop by the new site at http://www.myspace.com/baycityrollerfans and add "BCR Fans" as a friend! Don't forget to subscribe to the blog!

MySpace is a FREE site, and it's easy to register for a FREE account if you don't already have one. I've been a member since January and I haven't had any issues i.e. spam, etc. - so don't be afraid to sign up if you haven't already!! We've got a steadily growing group going on there!

Those of you on other sites/lists/message boards, please pass this around and let all the other fans know! I'll be counting on you guys as well to keep me informed about any new information (i.e. fan gatherings, gigs, etc.) that should be posted on the site! I've got a post up now with a bunch of the key BCR website/message board links - if you notice any key sites missing, please let me know!

Hopefully this will help us locate even more "new" fans in the online world!

So I'm sure you've heard about the Fan Fest being planned in
Edinburgh for 2007? (If not, please visit http://www.uk2kreloaded.co.uk/) Well...I can't believe I'm actually doing this(considering the scope of the project), but if Jan is brave enough to plan another Fan Fest, how can I possibly do less than...bring back the BCR Fan Database??? The database was a great way of getting to know other fans. . .and I know there are a ton of "new" folks who
have joined the online BCR World in the past few years.

So...consider this an invitation to join the ALL NEW Bay City Rollers fan database! I will be posting this invitation anywhere and everywhere in BCR land....as well as e-mailing folks who were on the old database. Just warning you now! For those who aren't familiar with the BCR Fan Database, read on! ---

In 1996, I put together the first database of on-line BCR fans, in the "hopes of a possible Roller reunion, and also to give support to the members' various solo projects." As you may know, those hopes came to fruition in 1999 when the BCR did in fact reunite for some special projects,including new music, several TV specials, and a special concert appearance for the Millennium!

Since 1996, the on-line fans have been gathering in various places around the globe, to share some of our favorite memories of BCR fandom, and to make new friends and new memories with fans from all over the world!! We're looking to bring the fans together again in 2007, so I've decided to re-create the database (which has been dormant for a few years) to help folks get re-acquainted, and to learn more about some of the "newer fans" in the online BCR world.

Incidentally, a few years ago I substituted the full database for an abbreviated online version that just included names, e-mail addresses (embedded as a link in the names, so that the address doesn't show on the page), and city/state/country locations. That database is now
hopelessly out of date and will be taken down. However, I may decide to revitalize it at some point, and I have included a question below that will allow you to opt in or out of inclusion in the online version, should that happen.

So – if you would like to get in touch with other fans, re-connect with old pen-pals, or get updated information on the band's current activities, I invite you to be a part of our worldwide BCR fan database! The database is FREE to all fans who participate. For the safety of the fans, it is my policy to only give out the database to fans who are included on the database. If you would like to be included on the database and receive a copy, please fill out the info
and return it to me at Cojehali@aol.com. If there's anything on the form that you prefer to keep private, that's fine, just include whatever you feel comfortable sharing with other fans! Hi, I just wanted to warn everyone who goes to Ebay to watch out for the Elevator cd that is being auctioned:

Bootleg Elevator

This is the same seller who has sold several of these in the recent past and they have gone for $60-75 each. They are available, if you still want them knowing they are bootleg and the guys aren't getting anything from them, at baltcd.com for about $12.00 each.

It's bad enough that marketers and promoters have taken advantage, but please spread this around so this "middleman" stops making money off of them.

I'm searching for one of the two released Japanese singles on BCR. Its called "Saturday Night". The picsleeve shows : the complete band with Alan. All of them are sitting. Only eric is standing behind, Leaning over the rest of the band. Les is sitting in the front with his legs crossed. I'm willing to pay at least $75 for this single! Please contact me if you have it.

I was going through some old records the other day and found a rare 7 inch interview disk with the BCR - it must date back to the era of "wish upon a star" - anyway it's a snippets and messages-to-the-fans type affair that came free with Mirabelle magazine. BCR were doing a diary column at the time for Mirabelle.

Anyway this is in mint condition, on wafer thin vinyl and is full of dedications to the fans and humourous anecdotes. More details if necessary.

Price can be discussed, though I must add that this is not a common item to my knowledge.
