Well after a super night of close racin action it was my great pleasure to awarded 5 champs their Mid Season Championship Trophies. IMCA Class went to the "Yount Too Man" from Boerne Randy Yount as holding off the National IMCA Champ Henry Witt Jr. for 18 laps till a yellow flag came out for Devines own Wayne Crouse with a broken rear axle of the resart Witt finnally got by Yount and took His Second win of the weekend. Greg Dinsmore finished second and Yount third. Sportsman class saw the top 2 only 7 points apart at the start of the night and after the feature won by 38 Yankee Payne the Mid Season Championship went to Yankee Payne and the "Crazy Cajun David Boudreau from Helotes .Street Stoc feature win went to 8 Barry Tuttle after the Mid Season Champion John Kinnebrew went out with problems while tring to hold off Tuttle. The Rookie Class Feature winner and Mid Season Champion was 99 Robert Martin with an other win I think that is 4 for him. But if you weren't at Hill Country Raceway you missed a Super race show Me Hat's off to all the drivers and crewas for their great effort and support to the track. We started off the program on a sad but heart warming Tribute to our Fallin Fan 6yr old Robert Scott son of John and Jennifer Jones and we prayed and also rejoiced to remember our childrenand how special they are to us and the drivers passed the helmets in the grandstands to gather donations fo rthe family and we had a kids water balloon throw with proceeds going to the family also. But with a true class act IMCA driver 8g Greg Dinsmore donated his 2nd place winnings to the fund for Robert Scott that is why racin and racers at Hill Country Raceway are the BEST THAT THERE ARE Thanks go out to all our racers and fans for their great hearts I'm glad to know and be part of this family.results were IMCA MOD 701 Henry Witt Jr. Waco winner, 2nd 8g Greg Dinsmore -Kerrville,3rd 66 Randy Yount- Boerne, 4th-41 Eric Hughes- Boerne. --Sportsman winner 38 Yankee Payne Ingram, I don't remember the rest but will post later. Street Stock winner 8 Barry Tuttle -S.A. Rookie Class winner 99 Robert Martin- Kerrville thanks and see ya next Sat races start at 6 pm
