Subject: Nice to see the Meadow!

How nice to wonder across the meadow
after years of wandering alone
along such a dark and lonely path
paved with pain, joy, dust and stone.

I remember, well, the hours spent
within this meadow's sweet embrace
and how all were never strangers
within this well versed place.

Even when the sun went dark,
a candle continued to heal
and lit every branch and meadowlark
thanks to the seeds left by Joyce O'Neal

Hello, poets! I've switched computers a couple of times and have done various things with my life and this poetry site was lost along the way. How nice it is to see some familiar names! I hope that you are all doing well these days! I shall be back soon to post new poetry :)
