The forge was moved to that location for an IC reason long ago, and just hasn't been moved back, I guess. I guess what you should be asking yourself is why, if the forge was in the wrong place because of a bug, why does it then make sense for you to be forging in the middle of the Greasy Bastard?
Uh, at the very least, going to the room where the forge SHOULD have been would have been better than throwing all sense of rp responsibility out the window.
And yes, standing in the rain to forge WOULD be preferable to you forging in the bar.
If -that- is good roleplay, no wonder everyone who could rp on this mud quit.
