Talking about advertising and getting experienced people on, why isn't there a newsletter? Guess there'd be some work behind it. Anyhow this is my idea on how it'd work.

Adding a question during character creation;
Would you like to sign up for our newsletter? [Yes/No]

Already having the email addies, sending out newsletters every now and then to people would be quite simple. One of the benefits of the newsletter I am mainly interested in is that it works as a reminder to those who rarely play. Might hook up some people and increase the active playerbase. (easy way to let people know of RPT btw)

Of course, people must be able to sign off the newsletter.

Contents of the newsletter would be code updates, RPTs, player/staff meeting... and other relevant information.
