Generally the player base is spread out more throughout the game, with an average of two or three PCs per city. I'm spending about four hours a day on Four Lands lately, in and around the areas of Stonehaven and Grotto hold. I know there are about six or seven players I run into every day as well, so theres people in those areas.

I know Kaiden has one leader PC for sure, but he rarely ever logs in from what I'm told. I've seen two or three others in the area as well, but that was the last time I was in the city.

Whenever I decide to play 4L, I usually just recruit a few friends to create characters with me. If you want more players in the game, make an effort to recruit people to the MUD. There are a lot of plots and stuff just waiting to open up when there are the players to support them.

The three places to hang out are:
The greasy bastard in Kaiden.
The High Stone tavern in Grotto Hold.
The Bashful Maiden in Stonehaven.

Thats where the players usually end up, so hang around in those places long enough and you're bound to run into someone. Joining a group is also a good way to ensure you have people to role play with, I know there is one in Kaiden with a minor following, and theres one in Stonehaven that has a number of players.

Hope it helps.
