Yes there is religions out there. Almost all of my characters had a religion of their own exept for 2 of them who expressed them out right to everyone.
A good example was my Human durin (magicker), who believed burial of the dead was important to let the spirits go to peace. He had a ritual he followed to bury the dead outside the gates of Kaiden. His magicks were never used ever for all his character life.
Another of my character who was a Stenmin also had a religion of his own who expressed it all out. He believed in Dark arts, (stenmin magick) and constantly talked to himself to two spirits. (Blah Blah Blah whispers to himself) He called himself the Dark One because he believed he was in touch with dark gods. It could have been foolish but he truly had his own religion.
Other of my characters believed in other religion based things, such as the stones, Nature, and one worshipped Soil secretly. You guessed it, a Dwarf.

-Although we really need a book and pens out there. There are so many things i wish i could write to express to the world and be happy to see that book laying around somewhere in the four lands after my character has died.

Religions are easily made up, you may follow strict orders and worship many things, things such as idols of certain types found rarely in the mud. You can keep it a secret or express it to everyone.

I personally think that the whole Troll race is religion based. They may be stupid but spiritualy they are smart. The strongest troll is the Clan leader, that can be religion based. Or maybe even a troll stenmin who is like the clan elder can be religion based.

Anything can be religion based you just gotta look into it.
