Aloha from Oahu... Helen, thanks for the e-mail about the alumni website. I must admit, I'm sure I don't know anyone to send it on to since I've been soooo out of touch with everyone. OB....yes, it has been a long time since good ole Essex High... and your oldest is going to graduate hey? Woo.... I have been in e-mail contact with Maureen Hennessey (Purington) and hope to get together "one of these days" but she lives "on the other side" of the island, so who knows.. :-) My mother (translated to birth mother) is coming for a visit next week... To those that didn't know, I was adopted and found and met my birth mother last summer. She lives in Connecticut... pretty neat, indeed...:-) Well, I'll keep this note short, although I haven't done a very good job thus far...sorry. Aloha, Robn

It's great to hear from you guys and know that this site is actually being checked every now and then. I think it could really develop into a tool to help old friends stay plugged in to what's happening in Essex...Speaking of this, it would be fun to know what events are planned for this summer. Does Essex have anything like an Old Home Days weekend? Or, perhaps we could plan an Essex alumni event in Hawaii; with Robin and Moe and whoever else might be there now we'd have a good start!

Kathy, if you ever want to start an alumni parents of teens support group, i'd be into this...My daughter's a freshman at Montpelier and my son's a pre-teen and we can use all the pointers we can get!

I'm still looking for John Morris if anybody knows his whereabouts; he borrowed a green hoe of mine and hasn't returned it...
