If you can make it to the Lincoln Inn on Friday April 11th, we hope to have some folks interested in further discussing the idea of an alumni picnic this August 9th. Brina from MN said she might be in town and come by. We had 7 come out last time. Hope to see you there!

By the way: I've made a request to the webmaster to have the "live dating webcam" removed from our messageboard.

yeah, joe says the voy forum has been acting up lately...we're probably in for another change; this is our second messageboard host.

actually we got a big table in the section near the deck and just off the bar last time. i called and reserved a table for 8 and we had 7 show up, but there were plenty of tables left even though the bar was packed! I'm sure there were Essex alumni in there too.

We had 9 show up for dinner at the Lincoln Inn on Friday night: Brina, Tim & Kathy, Chick & Monica, Roy, Janice, Mimi and David. This included folks from 3 graduating classes, including '74, '76 and '77 (as in the nineteen hundreds).

We made some big decisions. We changed the date of our event from August 9th to Sunday, August 10th. We also settled on the location of the event to be Oakledge Park (formerly called Cliffside) in Burlington right on Lake Champlain.

We hope to have some live music set up in an open mic forum with participation from alumni and their family members.

For food we hope to set up some grills and have folks bring their own grillable items. We'll be posting a list of pot-luck categories that people can sign up for and folks should bring their own beverages (in cans only!).

Janice says there's a fee for parking; something like $5 per carload. We'll be posting more details as they are solidified...pass the word!!!
