You may have had a computer, but may not have had a cell phone back then; you may have grandchildren that have them now? You may have posted something here or just visited over the years, but chances are you use the computer a lot more now than you did then. Facebook seems to have gotten pretty popular even with our generation lately. I haven't taken the plunge because I still prefer the old fashioned messageboard format; it's a little slower, but i find it easier to follow. You don't have to be my friend to post a message here and as long as you don't insult Joe Ketcham, the webmaster, you can say just about anything you want (he's not easily insulted, but he's quite good at photoshop and will post your head on various objects if you tick him off). I don't check this place like I used to because it has remained relatively inactive, but somebody is paying to keep it going and for this I am grateful. By my calculations it has been 33 years since I graduated from Essex Junction Educational Center (do they still call it that?) To all of you out in facebook land, I say, hello and do drop in and sign the guestbook and post a message or add to one of the threads that were started in years past.
