Subject: HORSE the language we all need to learn

PART 1

Horse is a languge that would do us no harm in learning. In fact it could greatly improve our wellbeing. Just knowing the basics of the horses attatuide, daily patterns and general behavearail patterns could improve you and your horses relationship greatly. In the following post I will wright a simple report on behaviour and caracteristics along with a few pictures.

FROM BIRTH TO RETIREMENT

FOALS:- THERE CARACTERISTICS FROM BIRTH
I am going to begin by telling you about the behaviour of a young foal from the second they are born and the order in which the stages happen.

The foal is probaly the most interesting part of the horse. It never leaves them in later life. Damage done at this age could cause serious damage in later life.
The horse is a precocial species. Which means it is addapted to escape preditors from birth. Foals can trot within two hours of birth. Horses are more advanced in evalution than humans because we have to learn to walk, the horse does it naturally.
It is known that certain things need to happen in order for the foal to devalop properly in later life and they need to happen in a certain time as well.
At 1 to 5 minitues the foal must lift his head. this shows strengh and stamina. At 5 o 8 minitues the foal roles on to his sturnum. At around 10 mintues it moves its ears and registers sound. There first attemp at standing id around this time too. Sucessful standing is done in under 1 hour, if the foal fails to stand after 90 miniutes call your vet as the foal is abnormal. The first suckle happens around 1 hour.
