Subject: Lots of stuff going on here...some good and some bad...

One day last week, an adorable little gray tiger kitten showed up at my sister's place. After much pleading, my sister's husband agreed to let them keep the kitten (so long as it stayed outside). They already had 2 dogs, a labrador retriever youngun (Chloe) and a 14 year old lab mix (Midget). After a couple of days the dogs and the kitten were best of friends. The kitten even took to curling up and sleeping with old Midget (who in her younger days had a field day chasing cats, but was always too fat to catch them!).

Well, last night, my sister came home from the fireworks to find that Midget had been hit by a car. She called me at 11, and since she had Kristen with her, I went on over to get her and help Wendy out, if she needed any help. All three girls were bawling when I got there. By the time I left there, Midget was comfortable on a large dog pillow with the kitten curled up next to her. My brother in law took Midget to the vet this morning, and was told her leg, pelvis, and jaw were broken. Since Midget had had a stroke some time ago, and wasn't getting around well even before the car hit her, it was decided the best thing for her was to be PTS, which was a difficult decision for all of them. Neither of my nieces have ever known a life without good old Midget.

Well, Anita, I did it. I told you one of these days I was going to take and revamp my entire site. And over the weekend, I figured the best way to do it would be to just delete all my files from my server. And that's exactly what I did. Which means I'm starting all over (for the most part). I'm going for a whole new look, and using templates, which I'm finding I LOVE to use! Also, if any of you webmasters out there want to know, it was recommended to me by Mentor to check out Dreamweaver 3.0 by Macromedia. And seeing as I take Mentor's advice 99.99% of the time, I did. And I LOVE it! A very neat program (not to mention challenging!). It has some awesome capabilities.

We're still doing the softball thing. So far, we're 2-0 in this tourney. I'll be glad when it's all over!
