Randy

You do not need a coredrill for geo-chem sampling as you are testing near surface. A coredrill outfit is expensive. I will give you my Bondar-Clegg kit.

I just looked; SR 50 book is oversize and difficult to xerograph. Maybe it would be best to just loan you the report and you take out what you want.

A traditional 2-box is probably not sensitive for gold. I used one about 15-20 years ago north of Pioche, Nevada, but looking for shallow vein. Steve Ryland of Cal-Gold is very
sharp on the use of a (Fisher) 2-box.

Randy--- I confess I'm not very sharp when it comes to geophysics as it required equipment. I was more into the "lower level" field investigation of the "egg-head" findings of the geophysist/geochemists.

The references listed in Special Report 50 very useful. As an example Helen Cannon was very sharp on botanical prospecting. Mr.Kothny does not ring a bell. Also, SR#50 is "dated," as it was published in 1958.
