Goldfinger--- our backtrails must have crossed. Does Tim Dale ring a bell? Tim's folks were old timers and it being a small world. Tim, although he was too young to know my grandfather Dragline Miller knew though tales overheard
by others much about Draglines early life--- the 1900 to 1930 era.

My wife's(Gloria)grandfather was Francis Bird. The "super" at 7-Troughs circa 1910-1915. He was originally from Boston and a mining engineer. Gloria's mom was born at 7-Troughs (or maybe it was at Vernon) about 1912. This was the year of the terrible cludburst and flooding.
