Hello Ben,

I have used the White's MXT in areas with a lot volcanics such as Basalts, and the MXT was very noisy. I loved the MXT in Alaska where there was minimal mineralization, but Arizona is highly mineralized and all VLF have problems to some degree.

Most of the successful nugget hunters are using PI machines, such as Minelab and Garrett. You might want to look into a good PI gold hunter if you can justify it.
