It seems the stock MXT 9.50 concentric may roughly compare in ability to the X-terra 70 hooked to the 10.5 circular DD at 18.75 kHz.

Then the MXT 6x10 DD will roughly compare with the 70 booted
up to the 5x10 DD at 18.75 kHz.

You met Floyd at the meeting... he was wearing the red T-shirt. He has the MXT and we have occasionally "beeped" together near Randsburg and elewhere. He seems tp prefer using the "goldfoot" or whatever it is correctly called.

The MXT 6x10 DD may be a better choice? We are trying for more "depth" than the low frequency detectors operating at
about 50 to 70 kHz may have.

Actually I prefer a elliptical DD as it can be pushed into the creosote which have not been so heavily pounded.
