So far, I'm truly impressed with the X-100. It seems to be 'better' than the Gold Scanner I had a while ago. With all the search options available a person doesn't really need any other detector. Before I sold my MXT I did some comparisons between the 2 and I'd say that the only area in which the X-100 gives up anything (aside from the weight issue) is in ground balancing. That 1 turn GB is ridiculous. I'm going to see if I can replace it with a 10 turn. ...Willy.
