Subject: surf recovery tool also any gold found in Tx

What type of recovery tool do ya'll find the best for working the surf. Thinking of trying one of those suction tubes they get ghost shrimp out of the sand with for fishing. Any suggestions? My better half and I are just starting the nuggett hunting.Planning our first trip don't want to go to far first time, seeing what we will need and ect.We are located on The Tx coast. Do lots of beach park and such for coins and jewlery. Both have Garrett machines and well pleased so far. Thanks for any suggestions Jean
