Ok, I have been finding gold with both my SD2100 and my trusty Whites Vsat. I found 2 nuggets in June with the 2100 for 2.5 dwt up around Winnemucca NV. This last weekend I had a great 4 hours of hunting on some old dump piles with my Vsat. However the heat and direct sun was a killer. My total for the 4 hours was 7 specimens for about a half once of gold. Largest was 90% crystaline gold and weighed 5.58 dwt. The next 2 similar to the largest weighed in at 2.12 and 2.08 dwt. So that is how I have been doing lately. Total for the year should be close to 6 ounces.
