Hi Mitchell,
I think the GM3 model was discontinued for two simple reasons. 1) The old square box style housing wasn't being used for any other of White's models so perhaps economics played a role here. 2) With the advent of auto ground balancing, perhaps Whites figured there was no longer a market for manual only machines. At any rate, I love my GM3 and I think it was the best of its breed. I would like to have a GMT, but for the type of hunting I do, my GM3 is a great machine.
