Thanks Jim...

Hoser's got it right. After 20 years of fighting the system over our rights to prospect, I've moved on to other hobbies. Sold off all my stuff except the VacPac which didn't sell, and the small things like pans, sucker bottles, screens, etc.

Just kept running into too many bad seeds, and got too many bad experiences out in the field. Fight for our rights too hard and you get anonymous death threats, vandalism of your property, and a bunch of enemies running a vicious rumor mill all put it over the top. Live to fight another day, another way I say.

I've adopted a new hobby, lapidary. I still get out into the field, but now I bring home lots more rocks for different reasons! When you cut and polish some of them, they are real pretty and sell for good $$$. More than when I was finding gold. I'm doing it for the fun this time tho, and it's a lot more enjoyable.

Thanks for the offer of the tape, I sold my unit to a fellow up in Alaska who just loves it.

Y'all take care, and may your bottom turn yellow! If you're ever out this way, give a holler, we'll "get a cupa coffee and set a spell....."

Phil
