Subject: The Minlab machines, worth getting one or not?

Does anyone here use a Minlab? I would like to have the best gold detector I can afford. At this time I have a MXT. What will a Minelab do? Are they the best? The GP Extreme looks hot. Is it?

P.S. I haven't found any gold yet and I've got gold fever... How ironic is that? I did find some specs with a pan one time but I didn't think that counted. Maybe thats how I caught gold fever. :)
