The 20 kHz frequency--- or within this range seems to be popular as the 18000, Golden Hawk and Eureka Gold all now have the "20" range as a choice.

You mention the "GP?" The GP Extreme is really impressive. I spent today out in the field with Rick DiBacco who has one. With the circular Coiltek Mono; it really goes deep. I know by saying "it really goes deep" is a vague term with little meaning; but I think this combo is about the "King of the Hill"

If you see the Minelab "center-fold" ad in the December ICMJ, the fellow shown in the upper right hand corner is Robert Allison. Rob is probably about the best! I think his find speaks volumes.
