Jim, thank you. You also look great and lets not forget Hawkeye. On Saturday I was wearing "shades" and my white cap; incogneto. But was recognized. Discovered the freebee GPAA magazine being passed out had my meteorite article with me wearing the shades and hat.

On Sunday I went w/o shades. I think Cal-Gold sold all of the Vol 3 Sixth Edition updates. Scott with ICMJ did well and PLP got a lot of signups. Pete Pederson gave me an WW-2/Korean vintage SCR-625 Series "C" Detector Anti Tank Mine, Portable, M-1.

I familiarized with one during basic training in 1953. The one Pete gave me was complete with original chest. It even had the batteries still installed. Badly corroded. As near as I can tell the batteries were original from about 1954.

The SCR-625 were a series first made in 1942 and used starting in April 1943. They were in service even throughout Korea but not effective due to the development of plastic mines, anti tank and personnel. HH Nininger used a surplus '625 right after WW-2 to find meteorites.

Ain't I smart. I'm on a roll; did you know Col CA Lindburg flew P-38's in the S. Pacific during early WW-2 as a civilain instructor. He shot down two Japanese aircraft.
