Hi Bill --- About three years ago I was detecting with my SD2100 and 18" coil during June in NW Nevada when I ran across a few relatively new digs that had been backfill. They appeared to have been deep. When I checked them out I got a real good hit over one of them so I decided to re-dig the hole. At about 12"s and the bottom of the hole, unfortunatly I did not find a nugget but found a bright shiny "dime". What really hurts was that I started to detect this very area earlier in March and got run off by a heavy snow storm. O-well a dime is better than nothing but I bet that first guy was a lot happier than I was. ---John
