Yeah, I thought I was back in junior high (shop teacher) for a moment.

I guess "Lunk," now home. There were sure lots of Mormon Crickets out, about the worse I have ever seen. Very voraceous. Rented a small car, Lexus, very fast and easy on gasoline; made a wide loop into northern, western, and central Nevada. The motel on Montgomery Pass now back in business. Left Winnemucca early Tuesday and in Manhattan by just past noon. Was going to swing by through Cloverdale but decided not to chance the tires on the Lexus. Came back by way of Lida Junction.

Found out Charlie Summerlin died a couple of weeks ago.
Jerry Draper fine.
