Hi Guys,

While I do appreciate the kind comments, let's not get carried away!

I'm just a guy that is lucky enough to be doing what I want (detecting), and with access to lots of detectors. My tests are always for my own purposes, and so are not all that scientific or "fair". My fear is always that people will put too much weight in them and quote them out of context.

But I do pass along what I think I've learned, as it really does take time to do the stuff, and few have access to the detectors. But please, anyone reading my "tests" should always be aware I'm just learning about the detectors as best I can, and not out to declare winners or losers. Like everyone, I do make mistakes, and find sometimes something I believed last year turns out not to be true in the face of new information.

So glean what good you can from my posts, but don't give them more weight than they are intended to have. I don't hold a candle to many of the people on this forum and others for detector knowledge. I've learned a lot from you all!

Steve Herschbach
