doesn't have a name, was on the remnants table at the local fabric store... I bought some of this same stuff years ago, and it was the best! After a few years when it wore out, I couldn't find it again, so have been looking for a few years, then a few weeks ago, it showed up again on the remnants table. I asked them if they could tell me who, what, etc or even order me some more, and they said no.... that stuff is just end runs or overruns and they get whatever the various fabric manufacturers throw in the short bolt bin and they then buy as "bargain" material... so I bought all they had...

For years after my "good" one wore out, and when I couldn't find the same stuff, I used stuff that came close, but always knew the DW wasn't working at it's best. I put this stuff back on and bingo! 2 to 3 times the fine gold... same area, same conditions....... At least now I'll never run out again! I put away more than I'll ever need, and figured other folks might be in need of the rest... I bought maybe 10 yards extra, and all my DW'ing friends have already been buying big chunks and replacing their cloth... and everyone has noticed a great increase in the gold their unit now keeps.....

It is a cotton poly blend, but I believe it's the sizing that is making it stiff that greatly contributes to the static generation...... One tip for anyone redoing their DW board, regardless of material... make it as tight as you can get it.....
