I have heard of one in the works, but do not know the release date. It is supposed to all be in one nice neat package and a third of the weight.

I use 5 amp hour batteries as they weigh much less than the 7 amp hour battery supplied with the unit. I simply change them when I take a break.

I am very happy with mine and am off to the desert as soon as I post this....
