Multi-frequencies are really ONLY any good IF they are widely spread out. Operating at, say, 6.54, 6.55, 6.56 kHz simultaneously is NOT as good as operating, at say 6.5 and 12.5 kHz at the same time. If the "multiple" freqencies are close together, little, if any, advantage is gained.
