Yes Steve I too will miss the Gold Bug. It was the first detector that I was actually successful with many years ago and there is a spot in my heart for this great detector.

I couldn't even begin to count the hours I have spent happily swinging a Gold Bug in the AZ deserts and found several pounds of nuggets with it over the years.

Rest in peace Gold Bug......
