Hello Clint

I'm still trying to bond with the Gold Strike. On the second set of batteries--- the originals didn't last long and the second set; coppertops now down to "7V."

I'm now able to live with the double low/HIGH tone and negative threshold. Had it out over the weekend and I think that any positive posts by those that are also learning it are valid. I will be able to say more as I become more familiar with the machine.

Unfortunately, I did not go to Primm as I had some misinformation regarding the organized hunts that were held on Sat and Sunday; I was told that the hunt targets were to be thrown in the grassy area; I do not do well with this kind of hunt, however, at the last moment they were able to use another field.

I have heard that the GPAA show at Primm was good this year. I was at the one in Costa Mesa but unable to comment on its success or failure. Unfortunately, the current bump in the economy is hindering sales in equipment.

As for me my cararact is slowing me down. Surgery is scheduled for May 16th, so "better days are coming."
