Hi Ralph,

Maybe the second sensor is a reference sensor, and the difference between the two is being measured?

It appears single sensor units can be constructed, and maybe that is what the new unit Hardnose is all about. I have doubts about their depths, however.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge in electronics than I have can make good sense of it.
