hey all, your too kind...........I JUST HATE SEEING PEOPLE RIPPED OFF!!
Anyhow, Scott was at the Puyallup show this weekend and had the April "proof" for me to read.............the article is out next issue, and it is my first attempt at any writing for publication. I hope it at least makes people aware, and gives enough of an education that maybe buyers will smarten up a little.................
I showed Scott 3 nuggets I had with me (yep, they were from nothern CA) and they were man-mades (best I have seen to date), the first thing was the "sound" (read my article next month), and then the 20X mag is the dead giveaway, Scott just laughed.................he said that if he didnt know any better, he would have bought them, and unfortunately this is the case in a lot of nuggets out there. These nuggets were purchased from a reputable business, who unfortunately was unaware of the problem. He recently bought 18 oz of nuggets, and they assayed out at 34% pure.......................ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. AAA in portland did the refining, and I will have the assay report next week.
Dave
ps............no names, and I dont have the "smoking gun" as to prove who is making these but..........do the initials CD, HL, or CS mean anything? to anyone out there?
