....and here's wishing your mom a quick recovery. My mom also was diagnosed with carcenoid tumors of the intestines last year, a type of very slow growing cancer. News went from just exploratory surgery for a twisted gut, to bad, and then to worse. Now, things are looking much better for her with new types of treatments for this particular type of cancer, and the doctors say that it grows so slow that it probably wouldn't effect her until way past 100 years old. She should have a normal life, and see her grandkids grow up. That is all that is really important to her I think.
