Steve, I ran the little 4" round concentric White's GM prototype coil on Saturday for about an hour. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be. It was pretty stable and had good sensitivity, but it kept detecting grass clumps and a certain type of small bush would set it off every time I got too close. It sounded like a nugget under the bush and grass clumps. I think it was so sensitive that it was picking up the minerals in the plant. I wasn't bumping the plant with the coil. In places where there wasn't this type bush or grass it seemed to work ok. I'm going to try it again this morning at a different location. I'll keep you posted.
