Outside of Ashfort, there are only a few scattered fishing villages and mining towns. The central mountain is a dormant volcano, and is where most of the mines are located. The land itself is a mizture of coarse, grainy dirt and long-cooled lava. The only things that will grow here are a thin-stemmed weed and, in places with a lot of the dirt, an occasional thorny bush. There are only a few seabirds that wheel in the air, calling harshly. Realms of Adventure
