Fer instance...a few days ago I went looking for some Christian Christmas graphics for my journal page. I happened to click on one such link that led me to a porn site. As usual, backing out quickly didn't help. I got so many pop ups in only a matter of minutes that my puter froze. (I have a pop-up stopper). Then my Zone Alarm went nuts and kept popping up to ask me if I wanted to allow such and such a program to access the Internet. Of course I clicked no. Then pop up windows for more porn sites, then one for odysseus marketing, then another for spyware help (duh). Then I got "Do you want to let IE access the Internet - warning! - this program has changed." Right then I knew I was screwed. Thank God I have a computer dr. for a son. He is always yelling at me for my exhaustive google searches. "Mom, you are opening yourself up to all kinds of s***." And I did. He fixed. But a Christian Christmas graphics site? That sucks big time.
