Well, ladies----when I became a grandmother my middle son, Andrew started calling me Grandma. That was fine with me and I thought that it would be the same elsewhere. WRONG! My oldest son's daughter started calling me Grandma Hobbs. That is okey too. But, if my youngest son calls me something else other than Grandma or Grandma Hobbs when he has children, someday----I will be confused.

My mother was from Denmark and my family called her mother Bedstemor and her father Bedstefar. I wished we could have carried on that tradition, but we didn't.

My oldest boys mother-in-law is from Sweden and they call her MorMor.
