Jerry,

I would like to thank you for showing such deep affection for Lt. Murphy. My wife still calls him "Bucky". She has called him that her whole life - he is her big brother. She was at home, sick from school, the day that the officers informed her mom and dad that Bucky was missing. The family still isn't over it. He is survived by his father - Rev. Lawrence Murphy, older brother - Wayne, younger sister - Sherri, younger brother - Kenneth, baby sister - Susan (my wife), and daughter - Kim. His mother passed away two years ago still believing that he may still be alive. If you have any stories, pictures, etc. to share, I'd really appreciate it if you could share them with us. He is still sorely missed and dearly loved by his family. Please respond and thanks for anything that you may do.
