Billy Martin, Mike McDonald and I lived and flew together from pre-flight, through 68-31B4 (Purple Hats) at Ft Wolters, TX and 68-517 4th WOC, Ft. Rucker Alabama. I was assigned up the beach in 2nd Platoon, A/123 AVN, (Pelicans)(Dec 68-Dec 69).
These are the first pictures of Billy I have seen since his death. Thank you for posting them. He was a true friend and I miss him.

McDuck (Mike McDonald, also F/8 (68-69)) is in Hawaii, still boring holes.
