Awoke at his voice. She smiled. She missed feeling Scouts reassuring touch and missed the warmth of his fur. Scout hadnt even been able to nuzzle his own puppies! She stood and picked up Darla and handed her out to Scout. The she did the same with Delila. She herself picked up Christian and Billy. With a mouth full of puppies she said with muffled words, "Lets go"
