::He padded into the caverns territory. Senses flooded with the thick aroma of wolves. Sleek figure gliding across the terrain. His dark eyes scanned the area. It was still all-so familiar to him. After some amount of walking, his eyes fell upon the entrance to the den...the original den in which he and his small pack had come to occupy quite some time ago. A grin curled his lips as he now walked towards it, somewhat eager to see what had become of it...and if any of his pack was left. As he neared the cave entrance, he came to a halt. Stopping at the sounds of voices coming from inside the cavern. Immediately his ears and nose picked up the sounds and smells of a familiar old pack member, Marena. Yet this other voice, this other scent he picked up...was it...could it be, a wolf? No...it couldn't be...wolves were chased away from here, shunned! Fought off, if needed! How could one be inside their cavern? Could it be--had he really been gone for so long, that Marena had lowered her defense of the cavern this much? He stood there at the entrance of the cavern, his silhouette the only thing clearly seen, peering down into the cave...::
