--The elder wolf was sitting in a high ledge saw the young intruder enter her domain. The old on kept looking him over like she knew something about him, something was different. Sniffing the air with her unusually long muzzle as she followed him deeper into the caves on the high rocky path above. She smelled his sent that was remarkably like her own, physically he looked more like her than the rest of the wolves she have seen here. Keeping her distance she walks down the path to a watery pool yards away from Rael.
She was large and now skinny with age and lack of food. She was beaten and worn, her crisp crystal eyes could tell you a tale or two with her life's past. Walking into the pool with her slender hand like paws, she stood midway in the pool looking to the youth, still with pride.--
