I've found an article on Salon.com that they publish weekly called Ask the
Pilot. I found it interesting and think the readers of this newsgroup mind
find it so as well:

http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2002/07/18/askthepilot3/

This article discusses air quality in airliners, wind shear, the process of
takeoff, passengers speaking up about concerns, flying in good and bad
weather, and pilots wages.

The most recent article,
http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2002/07/26/askthepilot4/index.html the
following issues are discussed: aborted landings, the preflight safety
demonstration, airline safety records, US flights to Africa, and the longest
nonstop flight.

We seem to have mentioned alot of these issues in this newsgroup. Anyone
have any comments about what "The Pilot" says in these artices?

-Adam
