Chicago Business reports that Nicky O South Beach Hotel, which we last heard had a New Years Eve opening date, will now open on February 1st. Similarly, the Chicago hotel, which was slated for a February opening, will open on April 1.

Although, we assume the Florida location is still undergoing construction/renovation/design, the Chicago location is being delayed for vague reasons like all the fashion designers who will design the Nicky O suites, said hotel owner Robert Falor.

The Chicago location will be delayed due to the addition of "top-notch designers to the team," Mr. Falor wrote in an e-mail. Fashion heavies including Fendi, Nicole Miller and Richie Rich and Traver Rains of the Heatherette label have signed on to give their touch to various rooms and suites, he said.

Above is the rendering that Nizar Idrisi did for Nicky Hilton and the Falor Companies, but we're pretty sure they are changing that up too. And the hype goes on....
