Hello All,
I am planning a trip for next June with my 18 year old son. Most all of
our trip is set except for a day and night spent at Zion National Park. We
are both relatively "outdoors challenged" but in good physical shape. I am
hoping to get some input/advice/tips on this park. I have listed specific
questions below...any and all help is appreciated.

* If only spending one day, is the Narrows Trail our best bet for a short
hike? How long of a hike is it? If not the best option, what other spot
would be good instead of or in addition to Narrows Trail.
* What kind of crowds and weather can I expect there in June?
* If it is as hot as I suspect it will be at the bottom of the canyon, are
there places in the Virgin River to cool off or is the river more of a
stream?
* What websites are good sources of information and pictures of the park?
* What items are a "must take" for this (or any) hike?
* Where do you suggest we stay? Is there a lodge in the park? Would we be
better off staying outside of the park and where?

Thank You for your help.
JC
